It has been nearly fifteen years since David & Cheri Burress began selling Custom Plantation Shutters. As they surveyed the products in the marketplace, they were determined to sell a furniture quality product that far surpassed what the competition offered. Developing a product line that would be beautiful for generations, in what has become such a "disposable" world, was the driving theme behind their work. It was from this principle the name Southern Traditions came to be. It perfectly embodied the core and feel of his objective - offering beautiful, lasting products that transformed a house into a home - a tradition of southern comfort and quality that can be passed on to your children and again to theirs.
